National Waterfront Museum
The National Waterfront Museum tells the story of industry and innovation in Wales, now and over the last 300 years.
About the Exhibition
As the Royal National Lifeboat Institution turns 200 we reflect on its enormous contribution to safety at sea around the Welsh coastline, with countless numbers of lives having been saved.
From shipping disasters to stranded holidaymakers, the types of rescues have significantly changed and with that so has the equipment needed to carry them out.
Discover the story of the innovative boat that was designed and built in Wales's Atlantic College and the stories from the people that used them.
