Donate in memory
Thank you for choosing to give in memory of someone you love and miss. However you decide to remember them with the RNLI, you can be sure that together, you and your loved one will save lives at sea for years to come.
When you make a memorial donation for a loved one, they become a lifesaver – and so do you. There are as many unique ways of donating in memory as there are people. We’re here to help you make a lasting and fitting tribute – to help you remember them in the most meaningful way.
Add a loved one's name to a lifeboat
Remember the life of someone you miss - or celebrate someone still with us - with our unique tribute.
Your loved one’s name will be added to the numbers and letters of Exmouth's special all-weather lifeboat. So, they’ll be there alongside the lifeboat crew, every time the call for help comes.
Make a one-off donation in memory of a loved one
You might choose to remember your loved one by giving to the RNLI in their memory.
When you donate in memory of a loved one, they become a lifesaver – and so do you. As a thank you, you’ll receive a special pack of sunflower seeds.
Set up a monthly donation in memory of a loved one
Set up a regular donation for our lifesavers to make sure the light never goes out.
As a thank you, you’ll receive a welcome pack, an RNLI keyring and a foldout map showing where and how your gift is making a difference.
Tribute funds
You can share fond memories of your loved one with an RNLI Forever by the Sea Tribute Fund. It will be an online space to celebrate special moments, stories and photos with friends and family. Donations given through your page will help save lives at sea.
