As a member of our lifesaving family, you'll be part of a force for good. You’ll be helping to fund everything our lifesavers need to save lives at sea, including vital crew kit and training, well-equipped lifeboat stations and lifeguard units, the best lifeboats and education materials. You’ll also be part of our work to help tackle drowning in communities at risk all around the world. So, when lives are on the line, you’ll make all the difference.

This includes a handbook to help you get the most from your membership, and our quarterly magazine Lifeboat, which takes you behind the scenes and brings you interviews with lifesavers, true tales of courage from our history, and recent rescue stories of hope and gratitude.

Storm Force £14/€12.50 per year
Looking to light a passion for the RNLI into the young ones in your life? Want them to learn vital water safety lessons in a fun and engaging manner? You will receive a new welcome pack shortly after you join. It contains our new RNLI handbook, RNLI postcards, a copy of Lifeboat Magazine, a welcome letter and membership card.
Memberships last for 12 months and whether it automatically renews depends on how you pay. If you pay by monthly direct debit it would renew automatically, if you made a one off payment you receive a renewal invitation letter prior to your membership year ending.

Yes. You can boost your membership fee by 25p for every £1 you donate.
To be eligible to sign up for Gift Aid you must be a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
All we need from you is a single Gift Aid declaration, which will not only cover your future donations but also donations you have made for the past 4 years. To make your declaration, you can either:
