Royal Cornwall Museum
200 Years of Saving Lives at Sea
About the Exhibition
For 200 years, the RNLI has been saving lives at sea. From wooden lifeboats with oars and sails to today’s motor-powered all-weather lifeboats, crews across the country have been making our waters a safer place.
At Royal Cornwall Museum, we’re teaming up with the RNLI to celebrate their 200th birthday. With dress up, games, and a glimpse into the lives of the crew and women behind the rescues, our summer exhibition has something for everyone.
