Report of Person in Water – Holy Loch

The lifeboat was launched at 2005 hours and proceeded to the area along with a police RIB and other vessels.

The person was out of the water when the lifeboat reached the scene. The crew went ashore with Dunoon Coastguard Team to check on the person to ensure there were no medical issues and to warm the person up while waiting for an ambulance to arrive.

At 2030 hours the lifeboat was stood down and returned to station. It reported ready for service again at 2120 hours.
