Craster RNLI has brilliant Harbour Fete

Even though the weather never stayed fair for the whole day it was still a good day with an amazing amount raised in the region of £6000.

The station would like to say: 'Thank you to everyone who came out to help out on the day, to those who donated and to everyone who braved the weather. Thanks also to RNLI - Amble Lifeboat Station, Seahouses Lifeboat Station and Howick Coastguard Rescue Team for bringing their all-weather lifeboats and coastguard vehicle to put on show to the public.'

Credit must also go to Andrew Cowen from NEAMPR - North East Aviation and Maritime Photos and Reports for the pictures taken, also 'thank you' to Gillian and Roger Smith who are the donors of the current Lifeboat D-703 Joseph Hughes, for opening the fete day and to Peter Angus for donating all monies raised from the sale of his homemade jam.
