Burry Port RNLI volunteers assist in multi-agency search
Burry Port RNLI volunteers were tasked to launch both lifeboats at 6:45am this morning (Wednesday 4 November) to continue the search for a missing cockle picker off the Carmarthenshire coast.
Burry Port RNLI volunteers were tasked to launch both the Atlantic 85 and D class lifeboats at 6:45am to re-join the multi-agency search this morning. The RNLI crew join Dyfed Powys Police, HM Coastguard teams, Rescue 187 helicopter and Lougher independent lifeboat in the search.
Both Burry Port RNLI lifeboats were also launched last night (Tuesday 3 November) to assist in the search when concerns were first raised about the missing cockle picker.
