Kilkeel RNLI aid two fishermen on stranded fishing boat on Carlingford Lough
Kilkeel RNLI came to the aid of two fishermen stranded in Carlingford Lough on Saturday (22 May) when a rope became entangled in the propeller of their fishing boat.
Unable to release the rope they requested help.
Arriving at the fishing boat, the crew having asked if the men were fine went about the task of freeing the rope from the propeller.
Two of the crew entered the water and successfully cut the rope away and checking that all was alright, the lifeboat crew then proceeded back to the lifeboat station.
