Flamborough RNLI and Pre school get together to put on a fantastic day.
Flamborough village green was the place to be on Bank Holiday Sunday as Flamborough RNLI and Flamborough pre school hosted a joint funday.
Throughout the day Bridlington Gold Radio road show presenter Mike Hammond did an excellent job of keeping the music playing, making announcements, introducing live entertainment and encouraging people to enjoy the day and raise funds for the two very worthy causes.
The crowds were treated to some fantastic routines by the Red Admiral Majorettes and kept entertained by local musicians including several regulars from Flamborough Open mic.
A BBQ put on by lifeboat crew and supporters proved very popular as did the refreshments tent , both sponsored by local businesses.
Blessed with glorious weather and fantastic turnout, the many stalls, attractions and all who attended had a brilliant day.

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,700 lives.
