Beach launch for Aberystwyth lifeboat callout
Aberystwyth RNLI lifeboat completed a rare beach launch to respond to two incidents on Sunday afternoon.
Whilst standing by off Constitution Hill, Aberystwyth Lifeboat Spirit of Friendship was tasked to respond to reports of a paddle boarder in difficulty off South Beach. Quickly arriving at the scene two people were located by the volunteer crew on a paddle board being taken out to sea by the offshore wind. The paddleboarders were recovered into the lifeboat and safely returned to shore.
