Man rescued by Selsey RNLI returns to Selsey with a donation and a thank you
Adrian Holloway was rescued by the Selsey lifeboat crews after his 60ft motor vessel ran aground off Selsey on November 1st, 2019.
Adrian contacted the station saying he would like to visit the station to make the donation and meet the crew. He returned to Selsey on 24th August 2022 with a group from the Catenian Association, they brought with them a cheque of £2,200 they have raised in recognition of the rescue. The group were given a tour of the station and boats before presenting the Cheque to the station Chairman.
Adrian was able to meet two of those onboard the all-weather lifeboat on the November night, Colin Pullenger who was Coxswain and Rob Archibald the now station fulltime Coxswain.
