Santa sensationally swoops in to start the festivities at Kyle of Lochalsh RNLI

Santa arrived in style to this year’s Santa's Grotto, marking the beginning of the busiest grotto the lifeboat station has ever held. The drizzly weather did not put off the scores of families who patiently queued up to await their turn to see Santa, with well over 100 children getting a chance to meet him. There was also an opportunity for people to do some Christmas shopping as there were gifts and cards available from the RNLI shop, whilst the children had the chance to post their Christmas letters to Santa at the North Pole.

Kyle of Lochalsh Helm Andrew MacDonald said: ‘We would like to thank all the families who patiently queued up to see Santa, and to everyone who helped make it such a success. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the year and we hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year’.
