Cleethorpes RNLI crew member welcomes new addition to family

Lifeboats News Release

When his new baby son was born, Cleethorpes volunteer Ben couldn't wait to get him involved with the RNLI.

Cleethorpes RNLI crew member Ben brought his baby son Ralphy along to training recently for an early introduction to volunteering for the RNLI - he's a great fit for a helmet at the moment but has some growing to do to fit in his dad's drysuit.

Ben asked fellow volunteers Andy and Matt, who joined the crew at the same time as he did, to be in a photo to go in Ralphy's memory box. They had the photo taken after Ben and Matt returned from a training session on Cleethorpes' D Class lifeboat where they were helping trainee crew get to grips with anchoring and veering.

Congratulations to Aimee and Ben from everyone at Cleethorpes Lifeboat Station!
