Peter walks 117miles in five days to raise over £1500 for Water Safety charities
Peter Saunders is walking 117 miles to fundraise in memory of his friend Cameron Lancaster.
The funds Peter raises from walking and camping along the Fife coastal path will go towards water safety and education charities chosen by Cameron’s family.
The event is in memory of Peter’s friend, Cameron Lancaster who tragically lost his life at Preston Hill Quarry in 2014.
Peter will be joined by Cameron’s family and close friends at various sections of the walk and stopping in at Anstruther RNLI Lifeboat Station and RNLI Lifeguard Huts throughout Fife.
The fundraiser started Tuesday 4 July in St Andrews and Peter is aiming to finish on Saturday 8 July in Dalgety Bay, with a celebratory BBQ.

The RNLI encourage everyone to swim at a lifeguarded beach and to enter cold water gradually and acclimatise slowly to reduce the risk of cold water shock. If you see someone in trouble, call 999 or 112 and ask for the coastguard.
