Pwllheli RNLI car wash fundraiser makes a splash
Pwllheli RNLI volunteer crew had a fantastic response to their car wash charity fundraiser on Saturday 10 June with fifty cars hosed down, sponged and polished.
A total of £517 was raised for the RNLI, the charity which saves lives at sea, with plans to beat that record next year.
Pwllheli RNLI Coxswain, Tomos Moore, organised the car wash. He said: ‘It was our first ever car wash and what a day we had! The crew washed tirelessly from 10am to 2pm with a great total of over £500 raised! Thank you to everyone who supported us on the day. It’s definitely a keeper for our fundraising calendar so see you next year.’
