Tenby lifeboat launched for possible overdue swimmers.

The Kathleen Ann was launched shortly after 5.30pm on Tues 30th May, after 3 persons entered the water at Tenby's South beach intending to swim to Lydstep, but failed to return.

The volunteer crew performed a thorough search between South beach and Lydstep, checking the shoreline, caves and coves, but with nothing found and nobody reported missing, it was deemed a false alarm.

The lifeboat was stood down to return to station, arriving at 6.10pm.
