Pedal power to the fore at Cardigan Lifeboat Station
Cyclists raising money for the RNLI popped into Cardigan Lifeboat Station on Sunday 10 September.
The group of 20 riders are tackling the Tour de Dyfed and West Glamorgan over three days, covering 190 miles and visiting 10 lifeboat stations along the way – starting at Mumbles and finishing at New Quay.
They were given a warm welcome by volunteers at Cardigan RNLI Lifeboat Station when they popped in on Sunday morning.
The riders have so far raised more than £22,000 and further details and donations can be made at the RNLI Tour de Dyfed justgiving page.

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,700 lives.
