For the 2nd time within a few hours, our volunteer crew were paged again this morning 3rd April at 01:04 to assist UK Coastguard & Police Scotland search for a missing person in the area of Culzean Castle.

Launching immediately, our Shannon Class all-weather lifeboat made best speed North towards Culzean, once on scene a shoreline and water search was completed several times from Barwhin just North of Maidens to Croy Shore area.

Meanwhile, HM Coastguard Girvan CRT and additional CRT teams and Police Scotland were searching the grounds of the park, beach areas and other possible locations, as we were completing our final leg of the search, information was received from Police Scotland and passed to us via Belfast Coastguard that the casualty had been located and all assets could stand down.
