Southend-on-Sea RNLI Offshore Open Day at Southend Pier this May Bank Holiday
See the lifeboats, meet the crew and learn about water safety at Southend RNLI's open day. Join Southend-on-Sea RNLI for a fun-filled open day at the offshore Lifeboat Station, located at the end of Southend's iconic pier this May Bank Holiday Monday (May 6th).
This free event is a fantastic opportunity for all ages to get up close to the lifeboats, explore the incredible vessels used by the selfless RNLI crew to save lives at sea.
Meet the crew, chat with the dedicated volunteers who make up the Southend RNLI team and learn about their lifesaving work.
Water safety advice, get valuable tips on how to stay safe while enjoying the coast from the RNLI's Water Safety team.
Witness thrilling demonstrations showcasing the capabilities of the lifeboats at 2.15pm and 4.15pm, (subject to operational requirements).

Entry to the RNLI Open Day is free, with just the standard Southend Pier admission charges applying.
