To mark the occasion and to raise funds for our own station the Sheerness RNLI Lifeboat Station crew will be running, walking and cycling 200 miles to celebrate 200 years of the RNLI across the weekend of March 2nd and 3rd

To do this the crew will be using the facilities at Sheerness Weights

The gym is run by our very own crew member Damo Bird, who’s been a volunteer for eight years. He works out with his son, Sam, who is also on the crew

To help raise funds for Sheerness Lifeboats you can sponsor the crew while they each conquer their own little section of the 200-mile goal

To do this scan the QR code or visit www.justgiving.com/page/sheerness-200miles-200years

We also want you to take part! On the day we’ll be blogging our progress and it would be great if you could join in and let us know how far you cycled, ran or walked on the day
