Walmer RNLI 200th Anniversary Event

Following the success of their 199th Birthday event last year, a team of Walmer RNLI volunteers from across the station, their family members and Deal Coastguard volunteers will again be running, cycling and rowing 300 miles as a celebration and fundraiser for the charity.

The event will be held in The Undercroft outside Deal Down Hall on Saturday 9 March from 7.00am until 5.00pm.

As a charity, the RNLI relies on donations to ensure that lifeboat crew around the UK and Ireland are ready 24/7, whenever an emergency arises. It provides our lifesavers with essential training and equipment, all crucial to their safety in the conditions they face.
