Brampton Plough day organiser Derrick Leech presents a cheque for £3,000 to Southwold Lifeboat Operations Manager Simon Hazelgrove.
A popular annual event, Brampton Plough Day is held every September and raises money for local causes.

This year Southwold RNLI was chosen alongside Sotterley Church and following a record turnout in glorious weather the event raised a total of £3000 for the RNLI.

On Sunday 7 January, organisers of the Plough Day travelled to Southwold Lifeboat station in vintage tractors to meet crew and volunteers and present a cheque before watching the lifeboat launch on exercise.

Lisa Cooper-Dann commented: 'Southwold and Dunwich RNLI are delighted to receive such a generous donation from Brampton Plough Day. This one day event has been running for 33 years and is a true reflection of country life over the years, with ploughing demonstrations, classic cars and a fun dog show, it’s a fun day out for all the family. We look forward to attending for many years to come and wish them all the best with their event.'
