David Collins of Jurassic Aquasports came down to the Weymouth lifeboat station, where he was met by Weymouth coxswain, Andy Sargent and with our fundraising treasurer, Barry Stonham, to present a cheque for £955.00.

The donation was from the divers and Jurassic Aquasports following their Christmas Santa dive which took place on 16th December 2023

David a regular supporter of the Weymouth rnli station said he was really pleased with the amount raised "We have fantastic support from our local community, and big thank you to the divers involved on their Christmas Santa dive and companies which kindly donated raffle prizes."

David said the event had such great support from the dive community he was already planning their 2024 event.

"As a charity we rely on donations to ensure our volunteers are fully equipped and able to launch at a moments notice. We are grateful to David and the local divers for their generous support." said Barry Stonham
