Write or update your simple Will for free* with the RNLI's Free Wills Services - online, over the phone, or by visiting a solicitor.
You don't have to leave a gift to the RNLI, but we hope you consider doing so. 6 in 10 lifeboat launches are only possible thanks to gifts in Wills. Any gift you can leave, large or small, will help the RNLI save lives at sea. Thank you.

How your legacy can be a lifesaver
The RNLI is one of various charities offering a free Will writing service; the schemes below are intended for RNLI supporters and their partners. You don’t have to include a gift to the RNLI in your Will by using this service, but we do hope you’ll consider supporting our vital lifesaving work, after you’ve provided for your loved ones.
If you do decide to leave a gift in your Will to the RNLI, thank you. You'll be helping brave volunteers to save lives at sea. Your special gift will help keep our brave volunteers safe as they head out into rough seas to rescue someone in distress, day and night. Your legacy could be the protective gear or world-class training that our lifesavers need to do their job safely.
And your generosity will always be remembered – because once we are notified that we have received your gift, your name will be added to the side of a legacy lifeboat along with the names of 10,000 other supporters who have left a gift in their Will to the RNLI. It will make up the letters and numbers that appear on the side of the lifeboat. So you will always be a part of our lifesaving family.
