What roles can you do?
Lifeboat visits officer
You’ll encourage local schools, youth and adult organisations to visit the lifeboat station where you will deliver messages about the RNLI and staying safe near water. You’ll also find and support a team of volunteers to help with presentations.
Shops and visits guide
Volunteer tour guide
Show visitors around RNLI College, our purpose-built training facility for RNLI lifeboat crew and lifeguards, and our All-weather Lifeboat Centre, where our lifeboats are built and maintained, both in Poole, Dorset.
Lifeboat visits team member
You’ll give inspiring guided tours of the lifeboat station to visitors including groups of young people and adults.
Community presenter
You’ll talk about our lifesaving work at yacht clubs, business groups, rotary clubs and other organisations where you will be in a great position to inspire others to get involved in supporting the RNLI.
