Crosshaven's station history

Temporary Atlantic 21 B class lifeboat B-575 John Batson was placed on service on Thursday 22 June.

The first station lifeboat, an Atlantic class, B-782, Miss Betty was placed on service on 27 June 2002

The Thanks of the Institution inscribed on Vellum accorded to Helmsman Aiden O’Connor in recognition of his skill and leadership when the life of a surfer was saved on the evening of 27th October 2005.  The service was conducted in heavy surf close to a rocky area.
