Station visits

Falmouth Lifeboat Station is one of a number of stations designated as an 'Explore Station'. This means that the station is open to visitors at intervals during the year, subject to operational re-quirements which may require tours to be altered at the last minute.

The station is located in Tinners Walk, near to the docks entrance, 5-10 minutes walk from the Maritime Museum.

A team of volunteers provide free guided tours of the station's B class Atlantic 85 inshore life-boat and Severn class all-weather lifeboat. Groups and individuals 1 - 32 can request pre-booked visits by emailing [email protected]  ideally up to 7 days out so volunteer guides can be contacted.

October Half Term visiting times will be from Tuesday 29 October to Friday 01 November, from 10.30am to 3pm (last entry 3pm). No pre booking is required.

If you have mobility issues we will do our best to show you as much as you think you can man-age, as there are steps and sloping gangways to parts of the station.

Falmouth RNLI Shop

The shop has closed so that we can build better crew changing facilities at the lifeboat station. We hope to open a new RNLI shop in Falmouth in 2023.
