Longhope Lifeboat Station

Longhope Lifeboat Station has operated an all-weather lifeboat since 1874 and the crews have been honoured with 26 awards for gallantry. The station has also witnessed tragedy when eight crew members lost their lives while saving others at sea in 1969.
