Atlantic 21 class lifeboat B586 Clothworker was placed on temporary station duty on 25 May.
2007
The new station Atlantic 75 class lifeboat B705 Vera Skilton was placed on service on Wednesday 18 July. Atlantic 21 class lifeboat B586 has been withdrawn.
2010
The new station Atlantic75 class lifeboat B-736 Toshiba Wave Warrior was placed on service. Lifeboat B705 Vera Skilton has been withdrawn.
2012
The new station Atlantic75 Lifeboat B-755 London’s Anniversary 175 was placed on service. Lifeboat B-736 Toshiba Wave Warrior has been withdrawn.
2013
The new station Atlantic75 Lifeboat B-747 Rockabill was placed on service 22 August 2013. Lifeboat B-755 London’s Anniversary 175 has been withdrawn.
Lough Derg Lifeboat Station was declared operational at 8.45pm on Tuesday 25 May 2004. This lifeboat station is located at Dromineer on the eastern shore of Lough Derg, County Tipperary. Lough Derg is the largest lake on the Shannon, stretching for 22 miles from Portumna in the north to Killaloe in the South.
