Meet the Torbay crew
The Torbay crew is made up of over 100 volunteers, ready to launch to people in trouble on the water 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our lifesaving service is powered by dedicated volunteers and unwavering support from kind people in Torbay and beyond. Together, we save lives at sea.

Say hello to the fundraisers
Our lifeboat crew are supported by a talented team of fundraisers who raise money to help us save more lives at sea.
They plan and run brilliant fundraising events, getting the community together to have fun all while raising lifesaving funds. Visit our events page to find out more about what's on at Torbay – the team would love to meet you!
Hear from our water safety experts
With watersports such as stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking continuing to become more popular, you’ll find our water safety experts spending more time around the coast and on beaches offering vital safety advice.
Last summer, we gave advice to over 1,800 people across Torbay. For more advice for staying safe by the coast, visit our safety page.
