Crew

Over 100 continuously active volunteers from right across Torbay help keep our Lifeboats afloat.

Our 24-hour operational capability could not keep going without our non-operational and fundraising volunteers.

Our success is bolstered by the support, time and donations also freely given at events by many more individuals and organizations across Torbay.

As a community by the sea, it is something we can all be very proud of. Together, we save lives at sea.

Meet the Water Safety team

As jet skis, stand-up-paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks and open water swimming have increased so much in popularity, you’ll find our teams spending more time around slipways as well as on beaches, offering advice.

Last summer we were approached by and spoke to over 1,800 people across Torbay providing tips and safety advice. We wish it could be more.
