Quizmaster receives award
Last night, another successful general knowledge quiz took place at Gwesty Links in support of the RNLI, with Chris Ward as the quizmaster. The event raised a total of £748.86, which includes a generous donation of £425 contributed by Chris and the quiz participants from both the The LC Drink & Dine and The George & Dragon Conwy since October. Instead of opting for prizes, the quiz winners chose to donate the winnings to the charity.

In recognition of his ongoing support, Chris was honoured with the 'Ray Perkins Award', established by Sue Perkins, the Fundraising Chair of Llandudno Lifeboat, in memory of her late husband, Ray. The award is presented to individuals who have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to supporting Llandudno Lifeboat, and we all agree that Chris Ward truly deserves this recognition.

Over the past four years, these quiz events have collectively raised over £3,000 for the RNLI, making a significant impact in helping to Save Lives at Sea.
