There is no better way to demonstrate the bravery and dedication of RNLI lifeboat crews and lifeguards than with a dramatic photo of a rescue taking place or a lifeboat in stormy seas.

A picture really is worth a thousand words, bringing the RNLI alive for our audience by providing a visual explanation of what we do and how we do it.

Images provide colour, drama, action and human interest, and are an essential element in promoting the work of the RNLI.

If you have a great photo or video of the RNLI in action (and it can be anything from a rescue to a fundraising day, a celebrity visit, an open day or a lifeguarding demonstration – the list is endless) the RNLI wants to see it, use it, credit you and enable others to see your achievements.

When submitting photos please complete our content submission form (below), which sets out how you will allow us to use your image and how you would like to be credited, and send it along with the photo to:

[email protected]

A high quality image with a file size of at least 3mb will enable us to make the most out of your photo in both digital and print. If you have multiple photos, very large files or video please contact us to discuss the best way of transferring the files.
