Fundraising guidance

To support you with your fundraising, we’ve created a series of guides. These include up-to-date guidance on fundraising topics such as auctions, lotteries and raffles, as well as useful how-to documents for organising collection boxes and working with corporates. You’ll find these guides on the RNLI Media Library, also known as the Source.

RNLI volunteers row and cycle 199 miles - one for each year since the RNLI was founded - and 238 miles - one for each lifeboat station in the UK and Ireland. Picture shows two volunteers on treadmills and one on a rowing machine wearing a Stormy Stan costume under an RNLI gazebo.

Fundraising training

We’ve also created some useful training videos and presentations to cover the key elements of being an RNLI fundraising volunteer. Whether you’re a new volunteer and want an overview of the key information or simply want a refresher, then this is for you. You’ll find these fundraising training videos and presentations on our PageTiger website.
