Prior to this role Claire was the Supply Chain Director within the RNLI, delivering a transformation in our Supply Chain and procurement capabilities.

Claire joined the RNLI from BP where she had been the Global Procurement Director for BP’s retail business, which covered all aspects of supply chain and procurement.  This included being the first retailer to use near field technology on their forecourts.

Prior to BP, Claire was the Head of Procurement at Coca-Cola Enterprises UK leading on the engagement with logistics, marketing and manufacturing. Her final role at Coke was leading the packaging innovation team who were responsible for delivering  new profitable innovations to life for Coca-Cola. This experience stands Claire in good stead when we’re looking to reduce the time it takes to produce our lifeboats or those that help us to prevent the risks and encourage greater safety for those that are immersed in the water.

Claire’s ambition to work for the RNLI comes from her passion for sailing and has for a long time respected all our volunteers that work within the RNLI whether fundraising, providing education in the community or those that are committed lifeboat or lifesaving volunteers.
