Steven is a Graduate in Economics and a Chartered Accountant with 25 years experience working in both Finance and Commercial roles for many household brand names such as Fosters Brewing Group, United Biscuits, Superdrug, Homebase, WH Smith and Estée Lauder.
For the last 8 years, he has been a Non Executive Director of The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals retiring as Vice Chair in September 2017.
He has lived in Poole for 12 years with his wife, Andrea, and their two children. He is a keen Day Skipper sailor and can also often been seen wrapped up warm on rib duty to support his son on the water as part of the GB Intermediate Topper Squad. He also spends a lot of time poolside with his daughter whilst she trains as a Branksome Lifeguard.
Other interests include skiing, cycling and long walks with Andrea and their black Labrador, Salty.
Steven is delighted to join the RNLI, a charity he has admired from a young age. He is passionate about making finance relevant for all and is excited to be joining this amazing team to play his part in helping to save lives at sea.
