Finisterre
The RNLI has partnered with Finisterre, on a co-branded clothing collection which sees 10% of every sale from the range donated to our charity.
Born over a decade ago from the needs of hardy British surfers, Finisterre designs functional and sustainable products for those that share a love of the sea.
Finisterre’s founder Tom Kay is also a volunteer Helm at the brand’s local lifeboat station in St. Agnes, a calling that has shaped the business since its early days.
Designed with sustainably sourced fabrics to provide long lasting protection, the collaboration uses colours inspired by the RNLI’s all-weather lifeboats. The navy and orange lifeboat features across the range, and lifeboat motifs are also stitched onto organic everyday basics including tees, jumpers, and hoodies.
Available for both men and women, the Finisterre + RNLI collection also includes maritime-inspired knitwear, and a technical fleece that features 100% recycled polyester and a wool-lined collar.
‘With a shared love and passion for the sea, we are really excited about the RNLI + Finisterre collaboration. The limited-edition range brings together Finisterre’s innovative and sustainable fabric knowledge with the unique volunteer ethos of the RNLI, which is as strong today as it was 200 years ago.
‘Personally, the collaboration means a lot, having been a volunteer on the St Agnes lifeboat crew now for nearly 20 years.’
